How much do you really know about safe riding?

We are excited to be able to offer a series of bicycle safety classes this year led by RBC Member, Lori Burch.  Lori is a Cycling Instructor certified by the League of American Bicyclists.

Part 1 (Thursday, May 9, 7:00PM) will cover basic bike handling skills for the beginning cyclists or for those looking to improve their handling skills.

Part 2 (Saturday, May 11, 1:00PM) will cover hazard avoidance skills as well as recommended gear for safe cycling.

These will be hands-on, active participation classes, so bring your bike, rain jacket and your helmet!  Class size is limited to a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 10 attendees. Sign up required.  As these parts are largely held outside, extreme weather will be a cause to reschedule.

A registration fee of $25 is required when signing up.  Current RBC members will have this fee refunded upon completion of both parts of the Safety Class.

Course Registration must be done through the Penfield Rec Website.
